The tree of life centre is a fully equipped studio so you don’t need to bring any equipment unless you want to. There’s a maximum of 9 students so everyone can get individual attention if required. I am a level 3 teacher with nearly 30 years of experience. The emphasis in my teaching is working carefully to challenge our habitual ways of moving, whilst also understanding the direction of actions within the asanas. Sunday 9th June 9.30 – 2.30 (8.45am start for level 1 trainees) Improve your understanding of inversions and deepen your practice of these invaluable asanas or maybe take a step closer to Sirsasana if it is still early days for you. The afternoon session will offer a restorative practice that is suitable during menstruation. This workshop is suitable for all students with at least 6 months Iyengar yoga experience. As well as offering a nourishing workshop for regular students we also aim to support level 1 trainees as part of their mentoring process. We will also be covering Module 7 for our own trainees as well as including time to answer any questions about the morning inversions session during the lunch break. All trainees are welcome to join from 8.45am.
