Intermediate level classes generate a deeper understanding of yoga, building strength & resilience, with a regular practice of poses such as backbends, headstand, Sirsasana/shoulder stand, Sarvangasana and Pranayama. A range of Inversions are practised regularly in class working to improve stamina and alignment.
Props such as belts, bricks, and blankets are used to help you understand and perform the correct actions in asana as you develop your practice. Classes tend to be slower paced, but physically demanding, with a focus on the transformational potential of asana.
